Search for Department Assistant, Marketing (Temporary) jobs in Beverly Hills-CA
The Marketing Assistant will be a key member of the marketing and communications department, providing administrative support to the Marketing and Creative Directors, the Senior Digital Media Manager, and their respective managers and coordinators. The candidate must have a passion for marketing strategy including the execution of creative projects and the importance of social media.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Marketing / Creative / Digital:
-Assists Marketing Traffic Coordinator with print and digital creative production, project research and vendor communications
-Manages administrative office functions including but not limited to maintaining the overall marketing department calendar, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements [when necessary], managing phone calls, sorting mail, copying, filing, prepping for meetings and -replying to general phone and e-mail inquires
-Processes all invoices and expense reimbursements and maintains organized financial records for both the marketing and digital departments
-Maintains inventory of promotional items as well as prepares materials, notebooks, packages and gift bags when needed
-Researches social media platforms, including new platforms and developments to older platforms
-Other duties as assigned
Events:
-Coordinates logistics with events department for all marketing related elements for special events throughout Oscar season
-Provides additional support for events team when needed
-Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
-Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
-Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
-At least 1-2 years' experience with office administrative management, inclusive of internships
-Proficient using the latest versions of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
-Must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends
