Search for Audience Development Manager jobs in New York-NY
Looking for an Audience Development Manager to increase Above Average's audience size, engagement, and subscriber growth. Their focus will be on distribution, analytics, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of audience growth strategies, identify trends for editorial team, and make recommendations for targeting and engagement (Google Analytics, YouTube Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.)
- Responsible for internal reporting including weekly and monthly cross-channel reports
- Work closely with Social Media team to ensure multi-platform optimization and best practices are being followed
- Work alongside the Editorial team to optimize tentpole, holiday, and daily engagement, creatively repurposing our vast library of content
- Manage traffic-building and video content distribution and partnerships with vendors and other partners such as Roku and Hulu
- Champion the effort to increase visibility, search performance, subscribers and overall views of Above Average content on YouTube, Facebook, and the Above Average website
- Manage YouTube content, metadata, and optimization, as well as facilitating troubleshooting for YouTube channel partners
- Manage ad platforms, such as Google Adwords and Facebook Business Manager, and audience growth campaigns
- Provide guidance on video marketing materials such as thumbnails, metadata, cover art and logos
- Community management to retain engaged audience
- Work with product manager to implement rapid testing of funnel optimization strategies on aboveaverage.com
- Research new and interesting ways of directing traffic and viewership
- Create the weekly newsletter to promote videos
Skills
- Knowledge of Facebook Business Manager, Insights, Google Adwords
- Familiarity with sports and current events
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint)
- Basic HTML or CMS experience a plus
- Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) a plus
Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree
- Publisher audience development, marketing, or programming experience required
- Experience from an innovative/new publisher preferred
