Supervisor, Post Production Client Services:
Supervise Post Production Client Services operations, with a focus on request fulfillment and project management.
Responsibilities:
• The Supervisor reports directly to the Manager of Client Services.
• Oversee the daily client-side operations of the Client Services team, across the AM and PM shifts.
o Monitor incoming requests for all internal and external service areas scheduled by the Client Services Coordinators; which include, but are not limited to: session fulfillment (loading, encoding, transcoding, etc.), audio fulfillment (VO, mix), crewing, and delivery to air and other non-broadcast platforms.
o Coordinate efforts with Coordinators, clients, and/or other facility support personnel on requests as needed.
o Work with Coordinators and other facility support personnel to manage resources per shifting workloads, including scheduling additional internal or external resources as needed.
o Engage clients to prioritize and re-prioritize requests based on overall workloads and facility capacity.
• Maintain an overarching view of all Post projects occurring within the facility, and how each project's status and requirements affects related individual requests.
• Facilitate seamless transition of open requests and other services between shifts, working closely with the PM Manager and Coordinator.
• Work with fellow facility supervisors and administrators to ensure efficient processing of requests; identifying obstacles, and solutions, as needed.
o Maintain dialogue with Manager to address acute and/or ongoing issues that affect the flow of production within the facility.
• Main point of contact for requests and/or projects that exceed the standard scope of Client Services operations.
• Recognize the unique needs of each client, and how Client Services adapts operations to meet those needs.
• Understand, follow, and uphold all administrative and technical policies and workflows.
Knowledge / Required Skills:
• BA/BS in Communications or related field, or related vocational education.
• Minimum 5 years television post production scheduling experience, or similar, in a fast-paced high-volume facility.
• Flexibility in hours and availability: working extended hours when needed and providing mobile off-hours availability.
• Working knowledge of post production scheduling software, preferably Xytech MediaPulse.
• Ability to work in a team environment, but also make educated decisions on your own.
• Maintain a professional and personable demeanor, especially under stressful circumstances, in all types of interactions (verbal, email, etc.).
