We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, detail-oriented, proactive and responsible individual to serve as Sr. Production Engineer. Located in the Los Angeles office, this position would be responsible for supporting the LA office Production Facility. Specifically, this position would:
•Maintain the functionalities of Avid, Symphonies, Apple's Final Cut Pros, Adobe products, Black Magic router, Signiant Agents, etc. systems.
•Have a proactive approach towards maintenance (for instance, monitoring systems, to catch problems before they surfaced) to reduce downtime.
•Interpret, correlate, and isolate and correct alarm conditions.
•Communicate with the business partners on a daily basis before technical work is executed.
•Participate in design/production meetings with management and business partners
The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Post-Production engineer. The successful candidate will possess the following:
•Strong knowledge of Windows XP, 7, 2008sr/2012 server and Mac OSX and ZSan
•Avid Interplay System Knowledge & Symphony/Certifications
•Strong Adobe Application knowledge
•Audio/Video Formats knowledge
•Ability to read audio/video scopes
•Experience with Networking Systems
•Computer systems
