Full Time Job
Senior Director, Global SAP & Financial Systems will be responsible for building out & supporting the new global SAP BPC & ECC implementation across A E's US and International entities. This position will also be responsible for supporting all other financial systems including custom-built applications & COTS products.
This is a key leadership position within Technology's Global Product & Application team that will be responsible for refining & implementing overall vision & direction of global financial system portfolio including global SAP template design, governance, change management, senior technology & business stakeholder management, business process governance, program implementation, planning, budgeting, execution & vendor management
This position will be key IT liaison for Finance & Accounting teams for their business systems needs, the position will manage functional leads, application manager, business analyst, SAP Development Manager & global vendor teams for implementation & support of SAP & other business systems.
One of the key responsibilities of this position will be to provide technology leadership in implementing SAP BPC & core financial system & then on-going maintenance & enhancements. The position will also be responsible for building out a multi-year roadmap for enterprise SAP platform working across Technology & business teams to create a solution that is cost-effective, globally scalable, easy to maintain & support and meet with A E business growth & objectives.
-Lead roadmap development, implementation plan, vendor management, stakeholder management, business process definition
-Establish Operational Support model for global SAP platform
-Understand and anticipate current & future business requirements, needs, and market dynamics & industry landscape and define short-term (3-6 months) and long-term (12-24 months) roadmap for the portfolio.
-Ensure that programs, initiatives & projects are delivered on time and within budget. Manage risks appropriately & plan proactive mitigation.
-Responsible for leading implementation of global SAP Financial system including overall program planning, vendor management, requirement management, development, testing, implementation and post-production support & maintenance
Set overall policy, standards and guidelines for the portfolio.
-Manage capital & operating budget for the area including planning, forecasting, rigorous tracking and reporting to the VP of PPAS, IT, business & Finance leadership.
-Supervision of IT application managers, business analysts including goal setting, providing direction, mentoring. Detailed resource planning, allocation & forecasting. Ensure consistent processes for support & development including time tracking, task allocation, backup & succession planning, training and mentoring. Create Development plans for staff to align with organization & department vision. Build a high performing team, foster open communication, transparency, highest level of integrity, trust & collaboration within & across the departments.
-Manage key vendor relationships including contract negotiations, pricing & evaluation of current & potential partnerships for A E.
-Overall responsibility for serving as the strategic IT interface with business units for the purpose of business/IT strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management. Serves as the business relationship linkage between the business units and IT (at the leadership/executive level). Maintain key executive level relationship between senior business executives across all revenue systems & IT, ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
-Regular status reporting including but not limited to budget, project & support status, resources to the head of PPAS & other executives.

Required Experience:
-10 to 15 years of experience SAP Finance implementation & support.
-Minimum 5-7 years of experience in leading global SAP implementation across multi-cultural, multi-geography team.
-Strong solution architecture, business transformation, business process re-engineering expertise.
-Experience with SAP BPC, SAP ECC 6.0.
-Strong understanding of budget planning, consolidation, general ledger, global chart of account, accounts payable, accounts receivable & Fixed Asset
-Strong experience in managing large capital & operating budget, program planning, business case preparation, estimation, forecasting & financial reporting.
-At least three full lifecycle SAP Finance implementation experience with at least one in key leadership role.
-Strong experience in contract negotiations, vendor evaluation, large global vendor management & stakeholder management.
-Must have experience working in an global environment dealing with different currencies, regulatory requirement, leading multi-culture teams
-Experience managing T&E, Invoicing, Financial reporting system.
-Strong change management, organizational leadership & communication skills.
-Minimum 10 years of leadership experience leading all aspects of full lifecycle enterprise projects including product selection, vendor selection, negotiations, contract management, scope management, stakeholder management, planning, delivery, execution & post go-live support.

-Experience and/or knowledge in cable industry are strongly desired.
-Experience in contract review/negotiation.
Required Education:
Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline. MBA or Ms Preferred.
