Project Manager- Project Management Office (Temporary)
The Project Manager, Project Management Office will be responsible for managing several programs/projects related to the AETN brand websites, databases, mobile and OTT applications.
He/She will work closely with product owners in understanding the project pipeline and providing project management oversight for development activities within AETN Digital Media. As a Scrum master, they will practice principals of Agile/Scrum project management methodology and be responsible for facilitating scrum process, removing blockers and creating an environment conducive to team self-organization.
They will responsible for running Agile meetings (scrum, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives). Responsibilites also include monitoring project progress and maintaining time-boxes, tracking project tasks and issues, establishing deliverables and examining and resolving issues and escalating issues to the appropriate groups. They are responsible for working with developers, product managers and quality assurance groups, assuring the overall web functionality and performance quality. They will facilitate overall communication between the production, product, development, analytics, ad sales and quality assurance teams.
Required Experience:
• Hands on experience, as a Scrum Master is required
• 4 years of technical project management / Scrum Master experience
• 2 years of experience working with SQL databases
• 1 years of experience working on Continuous Integration and Devops projects.
• 1 years of experience in developing mobile iOS and Android devices; experience in multiple
platforms including OTT is a plus (Apple TV, Roku)
• 4 years of demonstrated experience in different project management methodologies, with a
focus on agile methodology.
• 3 years of experience in coaching and motivating cross functional teams
• 1 years of experience in third party library integration (Analytics & Advertising) on web and or
mobile devices
• 3 year experience with Digital Quality Assurance best practices.
• 3 years of experience in HTML, CSS and JS.
• 3 years of experience with mobile and or web CMS.
• General knowledge of SQL, WordPress, Drupal, iOS and Android frameworks, XML, RSS,
JSON, and Manual and Automated Testing.
Required Education:
• B.S. or B.A. or Technical Degree in Computer Sciences preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position.
