Production Coord A&E/FYI/LMN
POSITION SUMMARY: Act as '' Grand Central'' to the department; this position is responsible for making sure projects are delivering on time. Work closely with director on all development projects. Manage flow, troubleshoot, and gather materials, liaison with programming, ad sales, marketing and production for the A&E/FYI/LMN Integrated Brand Creative department.
Responsibilities:
•Keep track of all department activities and support the overall workflow
•Take thorough command of the demanding editorial schedule by keeping the editors and producers on track with assignments and managing the execution of promo production.
•Stay attuned to maintaining the consistent post-production workflow methodology and media management between the day and night edit session.
•Maintain solid familiarity with graphics packages of A&E/FYI/LMN to ensure proper visual treatments are being requested and applied.
•Use of the On-Air Creative Marketing Database thoroughly to understand and maintain the day-to-day workload of all assignments.
•Be diligent in knowing the programming of A&E/FYI/LMN and our brand messaging.
•Maintain thorough communication with department to ensure schedule and deadlines are being met; report changes, raise necessary flags and convey delays so issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
•Provide production support for the Writer / Producers (in house and freelance) with the day-to-day production and postproduction needs in a very demanding and fast-paced Integrated On Air Brand Creative Department.
•Liaison with production, programming, ad sales, and marketing departments to obtain materials for sessions and concept development.
•Must be willing to work nights or flexible hours if requested
•Punctual, regular and consistent attendance.
•Gather materials for out of house editing- gfx, scripts, clips, bites, music, and vo, requests
•Demonstrate ability to multitask and to constantly track loose ends and report issues to the appropriate parties.
•Troubleshoot postproduction issues with a constant eye on quality control.
•Generate daily and weekly checklists/priorities
•Maintain scripts in the database and update the online catalog
•Attend scheduling, assignment, and programming development meetings
•Create status/priority reports for bi-weekly meetings
•Compile monthly and yearly production reports
•Code, process and route production invoices
•Fill out legal documents for projects and shoots
Required Experience:
Qualifications/Experience
•Two year previous TV/production experience preferred.
•Individual must be organized, accurate, articulate, flexible, self-motivated, responsible, and able to meet deadlines, work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

•A passion for and understanding of the A&E brand and television in general

•Prior Production assistant experience with on-air promotion production preferred
•Sense of humor
•Bachelor's degree
•Knowledge of Final Cut and working on Avid is a plus
