Nighttime Associate Producer (temp)
Position Summary:
A E Networks Brand Partnerships Creative Department is looking for a motivated and reliable candidate with 1-3 years' experience to be part of a unique department on the A&E brand. The selected candidate will be working on co-branded sponsored entertainment and branded partnerships for A&E & FYI Networks during our nighttime edits 5 days per week (5pm -1am).
Our preferred candidate will possess a passion for the A E brands and is knowledgeable of co-branded sponsored entertainment. This AP will be a valued team member supporting the A&E Brand Partnerships group's with all logistical needs as outlined below, in addition to coordinating, producing and creating spots for all of our :10 brand bridges and tagged promos.
Primary Duties:
•Manage, write & produce :10 brand bridges, tagged tune ins & vignettes for sponsored partnerships which includes managing edit sessions, screening footage, writing copy, music searches, creating weekly VO copy priority sheet for our daytime PC to record, and occasionally directing VO talent as well.
•Keep track of time and enter into the database (so it can be charged back to the proper networks)
•Maintain solid familiarity with graphics packages of A&E & FYI to ensure proper visual treatments are being requested and applied.
•Use of the Creative Marketing Database (CMDB) thoroughly to understand and maintain the workload of your assignments (Training Provided).
•Oversee the post-production of all projects, finishing, tagging, graphics, VO, mixing, required laybacks and successful delivery to Broadcast Ops (includes working with POSTNY & LIBRARY departments). This also includes using OAP & WINMLS software to ensure proper delivery and inventory tracking (No software experience required).
•Be thorough in the post production process and be able to spot minor inconsistencies (such as flash frames or audio pops, graphic inconsistencies)
•Basic Production Support: Create links for spot approvals, QC Links, Clip Pulls, File Request, Dub Request, etc...
•Individual must be organized, accurate, articulate, flexible, self-motivated, responsible, and able to meet deadlines, work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Must exhibit diplomacy and cooperation, problem solve on the job, able to work without constant supervision.
•This person will advise necessary parties to any potential concerns or issues specifically regarding production timelines, edit approvals, and communicate with the Ad-Sales team to create a seamless line of communication
•Be willing to fill in for daytime PC/AP when needed. Will create swing shifts during these rare occasions when PC/AP is away on vacation/shoots etc.
•Maintain wiredrive (backups on drive) and submasters. Report monthly music reports.
