Description: The Manager of Digital Ad Operations will execute day-to-day goals and objectives which covers managing the trafficking of digital media campaigns in multiple adservers and working in our sales management system. Duties will include supervising an internal team of ad traffickers responsible for campaign management across A E Networks branded web, mobile web, mobile applications, distribution partners and OTT products.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of campaign traffickers responsible for campaign implementation for complex direct sold online media campaigns across A E Networks web, mobile web, mobile applications and distribution partners.
• Work with Director and Management team to develop a training process for new staff as they come on board. Implement ongoing training and learning opportunities for campaign traffickers.
• Manage and facilitate campaign results review, optimization planning efforts and delivery adjustments of campaigns throughout flight dates
• Ability to accurately diagnosis and troubleshoot campaign related trafficking issues across all A E platforms.
• Process driven approach when working with teams on ad product/site development.
• Manage Quality Assurance reviews of all new content launches and evolution of existing areas of the sites in coordination with site editorial and IT teams as it relates to ad tag structure.
• Maintain integrity of ad tagging structure to enable display and video ads to target properly on site locations.
• Develop/Maintain mapping structure in sales system (Operative) to DFP and Freewheel ad servers. Ensure synchronization with ad server. Troubleshoot technical mapping integration issues.
• Build reports to support strategic, operational and revenue optimization.
• Support other areas of Ad Operations as needed.
Required Experience:
• 3-5 years online ad operations experience
• Thorough knowledge of Freewheel and Google Doubleclick Adservers A Must
• Superior ability to troubleshoot and diagnosis adserving issues
• Experience in a supervisory role
• Experience with third party servers and tools (Atlas, Pointroll, DFA, Vindico etc)
• Experience with Sales Management Solutions (Operative preferred)
• Desirable experience with HTML, JavaScript and Photoshop
• Desirable experience in de-bugging tools (Charles/Fiddler)
• Experience with Analytics Packages (Omniture preferred)
• Fluency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Incredible attention to detail and follow through
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical and internal client- facing skills
• Proven ability to: multitask, work under pressure, understand customer needs, build relationships
