POSITION SUMMARY
Develop and execute integrated partnership opportunities for potential and existing History advertising clients. The Manager will work with internal stakeholders to align branded content and added value opportunities with History sales strategy to drive revenue. The Manager will ensure all partnerships meet client and network objectives and contribute to a positive and effective work environment across all network departments.
PRIMARY DUTIES
• Partner with History programming, marketing, scheduling, digital and related internal cross-functional teams to develop multi-platform show- based and added-value opportunities.
o Manage ideation process and delivery of multi-platform marketing packages for History advertisers. Deliverables should be based on
agency proposal requests and client objectives.
o Attend on-set shoots to manage brand integrations, product placements and original branded productions
• Persuasively sell ideas and value-based propositions to agencies, clients, planners, and internal network stakeholders through
presentations.
• Work strategically with History sales team by pro-actively recommending and developing custom opportunities for advertisers that generate interest and intrigue in advance of an RFP.
• Manage category client list, develop and execute related ''A-level'' partnerships. Assist / co-manage approval of B & C level packages /
presentations.
Required Experience:
• College degree (Marketing, Business or Communications preferred).
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, strong knowledge of cable industry, project management track record.
• Multi-disciplinary team approach – candidate must be diplomatic, solutions-oriented and balance and reconcile different constituency
priorities.
• 3-5 years experience required.
o Minimum 1-2 years experience in cable sales, marketing, or cable system management.
o Minimum of 2-3 years focused sales marketing experience, in-depth understanding of competitive analysis, advertising programs, marketing research and project management & development.
• Ad agency experience preferred.
