Global Fulfillment Manager (Freelance)
Position Summary
Exciting freelance opportunity as part of the Fulfillment team in A E's fast-paced International division. This is a 4-month temporary assignment to oversee various foreign language dubbing projects, coordinate priority program delivery, manage the online screener project and service international client needs, including order fulfillment. The individual must ensure that excellent customer service is provided to all clients and that all requests are fulfilled as promptly, accurately and efficiently as possible.
Primary Duties
• Manage foreign language dubbing initiatives for movies, scripted and unscripted series. Obtain quotes and liaise with dubbing vendor, internal stakeholders and clients.
• Handle special language projects including foreign language asset research and coordination of track buybacks as required.
• Manage online screener project. Liaise with programming to establish list of priority titles and coordinate encoding and publishing of screeners to website for catalog business.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor on production schedules for priority content to ensure that materials are available for fast-turnaround delivery to International clients.
• Place fulfillment orders for channel and program sales clients in multiple regions. Act as the back-up contact between A E and client personnel for materials, technical specs and shipment dates. Ensure 100% accuracy of orders placed.
• Confirm client technical specifications and research the most cost-effective and efficient ways to service customized deliverable requests.
• Process and code invoices; participate in budget accrual tracking and forecasting and also volume metrics reporting.
• Assist on special projects as needed.
Requirements:
• BA in media or communications
• 3 – 5 years experience in the broadcast industry.
• Prior experience at a post production facility or content provider is ideal.
• Working knowledge of tape, file and audio formats required.
• Ability to juggle multiple assignments with shifting deadlines and to be adaptable to evolving business needs is essential.
• Candidate should have a keen eye for detail and an outstanding customer service demeanor.
• Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, plus special sensitivity to cultural differences in dealing with clients from around the world is required.
This is a 4-month temporary position, EXEMPT: not eligible for overtime. Reports to: Director, Global Fulfillment & Client Services.
