Responsible for identifying, planning and implementing retail and other location-based sales programs by partnering with retailers and licensing partners as well as A E Ad Sales, Brand and Content teams, to optimize revenue to A E Networks and its talent while supporting brand and ad sales objectives.
- Establish strategic vision for retail approach and direct communication plan for retail partners
- Set strategic direction and execute roll-out of retail programs for brands and/or franchises
- Conduct regular gap analysis for retail placement and identify appropriate steps to remedy
- Manage packaged media partnership with Lionsgate Films for retail distribution
- Develop and manage budgeting and revenue projections for retail partnership outreach along with VP, Finance and SVP, Consumer Products
- Develop e-tail promotions for E-Commerce platform
Required
Experience: The candidate must be able to compellingly articulate A E Networks brands and programming POV. Strong presentation skills a must, including development of materials as well as public speaking. Ability to work across levels of management as well as talent and their representation.
- BA or BS [MBA a plus but experience is more important]
- 5-7 years of experience in developing retail programs for brands and/or entertainment / IP owners. Packaged Media experience desired
- Licensing experience for brand or entertainment/ IP company
- Excellent presentation skills – must be a compelling public presenter and communicator. E-commerce experience a plus
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
