POSITION SUMMARY
To assist manager in various aspects of inventory management and pricing in order to maximize ad sales revenue.
PRIMARY DUTIES
• Execute weekly/quarterly schedule changes, communicate changes to Ad Sales group
• Coordinate with Traffic, Programming & Research groups to acquire information in order to implement schedule changes
• Maintain selling title schedule in Gabriel with updated program, estimate and pricing information
• Upfront/Quarterly ratecard set-up in Gabriel and Presto
• Prepare daily and weekly inventory sellout reports for Ad Sales group
• Manage inventory thru the use of Gabriel Deal Approval module. Approve unit moves, deletions, adu additions, resolution of preemptions, makegoods & rejections
• Monitor category avails and integrated time usage
• Fill unsold specials, direct SSRs on placement of makegoods and handle 5th break requests
• Prepare various reports under the direction of the Managers including the Actuals vs Estimates Report and the Upfront and Scatter Weighted Average Discount Reports
Required Experience: College degree preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. One to two years experience in Ad Sales at cable network as a Sales Assistant or Analyst or one to two years in a media group at an advertising agency.
