We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, detail-oriented, proactive and responsible individual to serve as Administrative Assistant ,A&E Drama Programming . Located in the Los Angeles office, this position would be responsible for supporting the VP and Coordinator of A&E Drama on a temp-to-perm basis.
Specifically, this position would:
•Maintain executives' daily schedule and schedule pitch meetings, notes meetings, and general creative meetings.
•Handle a heavy volume of incoming calls and constantly update call log.
•Read and write script coverage for a high volume of submissions.
•Publish weekly status reports as well as maintain a submissions log to track all incoming materials.
•Track and compile competitive reports.
•Manage and organize all files for the department, including production materials.
•Prepare expense reports and book travel for the VP.
The ideal candidate will have a four-year college degree and a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar administrative role. Strong entertainment or agency experience, with exposure to scripted programming preferred. The successful candidate will possess the following:
•Highly organized team player with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
•Strong writing and analytical skills.
•Must have the ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
•Strong communication, judgment and people skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
