Experienced Business & Legal Affairs Assistant
Seeking a personable and focused individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment assisting 4 lawyers and reporting to the Head of Business & Legal Affairs for a talent agency.
The position requires a highly skilled individual who can take initiative while learning on the job. Excellent phone and communication skills a ''must''. Individual must be extremely organized, detail oriented, capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, high volume work environment. A minimum of two years out of college work experience is important, a JD is preferred. Experience in the entertainment industry is a ''must''.
Daily duties to include:
Answer phones and maintain EVP's call log;
Arrange meetings, conference calls, lunches;
Schedule and maintain EVP's calendar;
Create and maintain the department's filing system;
Process expense reports;
Draft letters, correspondence, grids and charts;
Review legal documents and revise upon request;
Research legal matters and prepare summaries, if/as applicable;
Manage project spreadsheets in Excel; and
Manage mail and FedEx, including some International.
The ideal candidate should possess a skill set ranging from basic assistant skills, contract administration and legal.
Individual will regularly interact with other departments, including accounting, human resources, agents and assistants.
Individual must possess a strong work ethic and mature attitude capable of dealing with confidential information requiring discretion.
Advanced Computer Software skills and experience in: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Advanced Internet search/research.
