Overview of the Position:
AMF is seeking a detail-oriented, organized assistant with strong administrative experience. The Administrative Assistant candidate should be a detail oriented, critical thinker who can work quickly and understand managing the complexities of multi-tasking. The role will support the CEO as well as other members of the team. Candidates should also have familiarity with various pop culture events, TV shows, films, and music, plus a strong knowledge of the entertainment- key actors, artists, sports and digital stars. Position may require additional evening or weekend event work.
Job Functions:
• Answer phones, make calls, and direct phone inquiries as appropriate.
• Schedule conference calls and meetings.
• Draft and send out letter correspondence.
• Revise and proofread documents.
• Maintain company database and talent grids.
• Prepare Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint decks and other presentations.
• Maintain contacts and calendar information on shared drive.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Skills/Abilities:
The Administrative Assistant must have the following skills/abilities:
Knowledge of the entertainment industry
Professionalism in an office environment and via phone
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in English
Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to highly confidential information and materials.
Attention to detail.
Ability to maintain organized systems and workspace
Experience:
• 2-3 years of Administrative Assistant experience in an office setting.
• Advanced computer experience: Microsoft Excel (including knowledge of spreadsheets), Word (including redlining), Internet
Education:
College degree preferred
BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field
