The Project Manager On-Air Integrated Sponsorships reports to the Director of Production, Planning & Operations and is responsible for managing all assigned projects, from conception to completion, obtaining proper approvals and ensuring timely delivery of material. The position requires a minimum of 7 years experience in promos, production or related field. Key skills needed are production management, knowledge of production budgeting, strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple projects at the same time.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project manage all phases of production for on-air integrated marketing promotions projects.
2. Work with Director of Production to assign projects.
3. Coordinate overall integrated marketing production calendar, and provide timely status updates; internally to Director of Production and externally to Integrated Marketing and Traffic departments.
4. Work with production staff to ensure producers have all necessary materials to create promos.
5. Review submitted creative briefs & integrated marketing request forms for accurate and complete content.
6. Create and manage internal and external production schedules for each project, as well as provide production insight and timelines for prospective projects.
7. Ensure producers and outside vendors meet deadlines, and keep Director of Production informed of any adverse impacts on deadlines and/or budget.
8. Route all creative material for approval/notes in a timely manner, in the proper order, to all appropriate parties.
9. Communicate information and relay creative notes clearly and quickly to producers, freelancers and outside agencies.
10. Work closely with the IFC Integrated Marketing team to track receipt of sponsored material, as well as coordinate with the Assistant Editor and/or Production Supervisor to update, vet and manage all incoming sponsored material acquired for co-branded projects.
11. Be the point person for all outside agency shoots, both sponsored and non-sponsored as required.
12. Review all production shoot budgets as well as act as line producer on in house shoots as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
· Min 7 years of experience in on air production management
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Detail-oriented
· Ability to work well in a team situation and with clients, working under pressure, and juggling multiple stages of production simultaneously.
Extensive shoot experience required.
