To directly supervise and oversee the Channel Coordinators for AMC, AMC Canada, WE, IFC and Sundance. This includes the coordination and review all the elements that constitute the Network's air and to interact daily with the different Networks and B&T departments to insure the successful playout of the Networks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Insure department performs all necessary functions to insure commercial content reaches air. This includes coordinating the information and product flow between Production Services, Ad Sales, and Network Scheduling departments.
2. Create and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for department
3. Insure department performs all necessary functions to insure promotional content reaches air. This includes coordinating the information and product flow between Production Services, Creative Services, and Network Scheduling departments.
4. Assist Director with reviews.
5. Perform testing of all new automation programming, including squeezes, bugs and banners. Create the necessary automation programming necessary for graphic elements to air.
6. Coordinate all on-air graphics elements with the Graphics, Network Scheduling and Creative Services departments to insure elements air correctly and according to requested specifications.
7. To handle last minute requests and changes from the Networks, including, but not limited to, last minute commercial and or programming changes.
8. To respond to Network's issues and concerns in a timely manner.
9. Participate in Monthly Operational meetings with the Clients. Present B&T issues and concerns in the meeting.
10. Become familiar with the procedures of all other playback channels and provide help to other Coordinators as necessary
11. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Minimum of 10 years B&T experience or equivalent industry experience.
2. Fluent in Spanish required. Portuguese a plus.
3. Working knowledge of all Channel Coordinator assignments and responsibilities
4. Ability to follow specific instructions from the Network and B&T management.
5. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professional relationships with co-workers.
6. Ability to handle multiple demands.
7. Computer ability and an operational understanding of Harris Automation and Media Asset Systems.
