OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Coordinator of Budget Management is a support role and will assist the Manager of Corporate Marketing to ensure that all projects, payments and deal memos are tracked accurately and processed in a timely manner for the marketing department. Primary responsibilities include processing invoices and T&E's, setting up new vendors, ensuring all expenses are tracked, maintaining detailed log of pending and completed contracts, assisting in month end close, reporting and other ad hoc reports as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Budget Management for 4 Marketing divisions: Consumer Marketing, Activations and Promotions, Ad Sales Marketing, Marketing Operations
1. Enter invoices into internal payment system
2. Initiate deal memos and tracking them through the system to prevent delays
3. Assist Manager of Corporate Marketing with month end close process
4. Interact with vendors and accounting regarding status of accounts payable
5. Assist Manager of Corporate Marketing with monthly reconciliation process
6. Assist in creating new processes for tracking of ongoing projects, contracts and payments
SCOPE
The Coordinator of Budget Management plays a key role in ensuring that the budgets are balanced and payments are issued in a timely manner. This is essential to the success of the marketing campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Two to three years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, finance or data entry
· Bachelors degree in business or related field
· Experience with Microsoft Office, with special emphasis on Excel using linked tabs, formulas and pivot tables
· Excellent mathematical skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multitask
· Strong organizational skills
