Support and troubleshoot live On-Air Master Control, QC suites and Post Production equipment. Must be able to work well under pressure situations with minimal supervision, understand schematics and use them in diagnosing On-Air problems in a timely manner. Must possess a strong working knowledge of digital SD and HD systems. This includes video switchers, routers, DDR's, automation equipment and Evertz VL Pro. Experience with GVG Maestro Master Control Switchers, Summit DDR, Trinix Routers, Harris Automation and Evertz MVP is a plus. Handle additional projects and tasks as specified by the Engineering Management team. Ability to interact with clients, lead support teams and achieve goals on specific timelines is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Individual must possess a minimum of 5 years experience in broadcast systems maintenance. Background should include a hands-on understanding of computer networking, Windows O.S. as well as hardware/software installations and configurations. Experience maintaining and repairing Sony HD VTR's, HDCAM/SRW is preferred. AutoCad and Visio drafting programs is a plus. Some lifting of heavy equipment required. Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays.
