Coordinator Job Description:
The Production Finance Coordinator position will reside within the company's Santa Monica office and will support the VP of Production Finance, Manager of Production Finance, and freelance accounting teams on multiple television shows
Qualifications:
Candidates are required to be highly analytical and to be strong and effective communicators. He/she must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
Candidate must be self-motivated, disciplined, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
2-3 years of experience at a major studio, top tier independent production company as a financial analyst/staff accountant supporting financial or production executives or as a freelance assistant production accountant.
Experience with PSL Accounting software and Movie Magic Budgeting a plus**
Duties:
On a daily/monthly basis the following is a list of duties that the coordinator will be responsible for but are not limited to:
*Pre -Production setup
-Fedex accounts
-Staples accounts
-Creating PO Templates
-Ordering Check Stock
-Ordering PCards
-Issue Petty Cash
*Post Production
-Process Accounts Payable for various shows
-Run Cost Reports
-Inquiring about deposits refunds
* Deposits
-Oversee incoming checks for deposit
-Research vendors and coding
*1099 Processing
-Run 1099 reports and coordinate with Cast and Crew
*Binders
- Manage VP of Finance binders for each current show
*Shared Drive
-Maintain Shared Drive folders
