Provide strategic and innovative leadership in identifying well-defined long-term brand strategies connected to consumers needs, emotions and competitive environments
Work across all 5 A E Network brands formulating strategy for the brand, priority shows and ancillary business units.
Design a lasting structure to bridge brand strategy and brand messaging.
Work closely with programming and research teams to formulate insights to help focus marketing work around all 5 brands
Interface with programmers, CMO, SVPs & VP Brand Leads in communicating positioning & strategy on priorities out to internal teams within the company and external partners.
Facilitate brainstorms around priorities on each brand to spur innovative thinking internally
Qualification Requirements Minimum of 5 years brand strategy experience within a cable/broadcast and/or agency environment.
Solid understanding and experience of both traditional and non-traditional marketing platforms.
Excellent at presenting solutions and ideas.
Terrific oral and written skills.
Great problem solver with the ability to take open ended questions and suggest an approach to answer the question and then execute.
Agency background a plus as well as account planner experience.
