Sr. Writer/Producer (Project)
Core Responsibilities:
• Branded Content initiatives > Ideation, pitch, create, execute linear & digital short form creative pertaining to custom vignettes, short form series, Movie Studio Stunt tie ins, Tentpole event promotions, Stunt promotion). Supervise outside vendors from pitch to completion. Supervise internal producers and editors on a project-to-project basis. Supervise custom shoots. Write & Produce all projects internally as assigned. Own and oversee multiple sales partnership categories. Has an extensive understanding of all creative disciplines; including conceptual and executional (direction, editing, copy-writing, graphic design direction and production). Able to lead and manage 5-10 opne projects on an on-going basis.
• Innovation> Continually develop new franchises, new opportunities to create richer packages for current clients and to attract new business.
• Integration> Leverage branded content synergy across multiple platforms. Participate in Cross-Network strategy, Digital/Social strategy including ideation and creation
• Ideation > Lead RFP (Request for Proposal) ideation sessions. Suggest ways to accomplish client RFP goals without sacrificing the integrity of the network brands. Be a strategic thinker and apply network promotional initiatives to ideation generation. Be a brand champion for the network. Be the voice for the brand during ideation meetings and when drafting thought starters. Write these concpets in creatively concise pitches.
• Communication > Stay informed with attendance of weekly production staff meetings. Communicate brand expectations while providing creative solutions to client concerns/feedbackthrough project email exchanges.
• Teamwork > Work closely with the Lifetime/LMN/FYI Brand Creative Producers, 45th & Dean teammates including Creative Director and Production Coordinaotr and AP, Programmers and Legal on all projects to ensure brand voice is present as well as manage brand expectations for all Ad-Sales Bradned Content.
• Account > Partner with Ad-Sales: Production Manager, Partnership Manager and Coordinator on funding for all current and future projects. Consider vendor/producer assignments based on: budgets, production calendars, client expectations and workflow.
Qualification Requirements
• A minimum of five years' experience in Branded Entertainment/Integrated Marketing or related field.
• Extensive production and post-production experience.
• Exemplary writing, communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to Direct on camera talent and VO talent. Educational Requirements • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Communications/Advertising/Marketing/Video/Film Production or related field is preferred Other Skills and Knowledge • Must display a commitment to excellence and to on-going education in Branded Entertainment and to the mastery of his/her craft.
• Must be well organized, capable of handling several projects simultaneously, have the ability to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines, and possess excellent intrapersonal skills.
• Editing Skills a plus
