Full Time Job
To work with the Ad Sales team to sell ideas and value based propositions to agencies, clients, planners, and internal network stakeholders. Packages sold should add incremental revenue.
Qualification Requirements Manage ideation process and delivery of multi-platform marketing packages for assigned network brand or brands (e.g. History) advertisers. Deliverables should be based on agency proposal requests and client objectives.
Work closely with Sr Director to develop/implement strategic sales packages and present to the sales team in monthly meetings. Sr Manager's responsibilities include working with other internal departments from Digital/Social/Programming/Marketing and Ad Sales Marketing.
Sr Manager is also responsible to attending bi-weekly Ad Sales Marketing and monthly programming meeting and reporting back to the partnerships team.
Sr Manager is responsible for direct management of 1 manager from reviewing work to approving timecards.
Educational Requirements College degree, Marketing, Business or Communications Other Skills and Knowledge Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel. Excellent writing and presentation skills, strong knowledge of cable industry, project management track record. Skills in diplomacy required
Minimum 2 years experience in cable sales, marketing or cable system management. Minimum of 3 years focused sales marketing experience, in-depth understanding of competitive analysis, advertising programs, marketing research and project management & development. 5-7 total years experience required.
Ad agency experience preferred
