Full Time Job
Perform software development and architecture activities related to content management and delivery for A&E s mobile and video player applications using PHD, MySQL and Pert.Develop and integrate content support systems for mobile and video applications. Define and build solutions for managing and delivering the video and other content used by A&E's mobile and web-based video player application. Design and integrate cloud-based services using Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Akamai CON. Develop content delivery and manage/integrate solutions by using Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, RSS, JSON, Object-Oriented Design Patterns, JavaScript, and PHP. Conduct business requirements with internal clients in the Digital Medical and other divisions to align application development efforts with A&E's business objective. Work with project managers, and other developers, and technical management to plan, track, and optimize application development efforts.
Required Experience:
Must have at least 6 years of experience in job offered or 6 years of experience in computer technology, Media/Publishing Industry, and/or application development, of which must have at least 2 years in content related application development or support handling applications in the Media/Publishing industry.
(1) Performing hands-on application engineering using Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, RSS, JSON, and Object-Oriented Design Patterns;
(2) Supporting and integrating mobile and web-based video technologies using PHP, MYSQL, and Perl; and
(3) Designing and integrating cloud-based services using Platform, Amazon Web Services and Akami CDN.
Required Education:
Must have at least a Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
