Full Time Job
The Total Rewards Leader will be responsible for the directing the design, development and administration of compensation and benefit programs. S/he will also be responsible for performance appraisal and salary administration programs to ensure the firm retains a competitive compensation posture in the marketplace. S/he will have the ability to lead and manage an NYC based team of comp and benefits professionals, and liaise closely with the HRIS administrator to provide optimal support for the A E Networks.
Reporting to the Vice President, s/he will partner closely with fellow HR colleagues to meet the needs of the business through best in class compensation and benefits programs. S/he will also be responsible for collaborating with the international compensation and benefits leader to ensure that our practices are uniform in nature.

• Designs pay structure and develop competitive salary ranges to support the organization's business strategy.
• Manages salary planning and budgeting process.
• Develop and administer overall incentive and bonus programs within the guidelines of established policies.
• Oversees participation in wage and salary surveys and recommends changes in compensation to maintain the organization's compensation objectives and competitive position in the marketplace.
• Provides assistance to HR Business Partners to analyze jobs specifications and performs formal job evaluation to determine salary/grade levels and salary recommendations.
• Conducts training for new & existing managers in compensation administration programs.
• Assists VP with international compensation issues.
• Performs ongoing analysis of all benefits programs and offerings. Identifies areas for performance improvement and implements solutions to improve services or more effectively control costs.
• Take a lead role in managing the activities of the pension committee. Schedule meetings, develop/ gather all supporting information and manage implementation of plan changes.
• Monitor all benefits programs for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Gather and maintain information on competitive benefits practices through participation in industry surveys, working groups and committees.
Qualification Requirements
• 10 years of experience in compensation/benefits design, compensation/benefits government regulations of state, federal & local laws and salary administration in a midsize company.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams of HR professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility and confidence with a wide variety of leaders as a trusted advisor and confidant.
• Unquestioned integrity with ability to work with sensitive and confidential information. Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and competence in making timely, effective, principles-based decisions.
• Demonstrated advanced client focus, judgment, analytical skills, critical thinking and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal) required.
• Able to adhere to strict deadlines and deliver projects on a timely basis.
• Strong business and financial acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and business analysis skills.
• Ability to bring new ideas and leverage expertise and operations knowledge.
• Demonstrated ability and experience working effectively in a self-directed, proactive, results-oriented, matrixed, fast-paced environment across all levels.
• Strong Computer skills in Windows environment applications advanced Excel, Access and MS Word. Human Resources concentration in Compensation or Benefits. Must process strong statistical and analytical skills with knowledge in competitive pay trends, strategies and methods. Must have 3 yrs experience in a HCM system, with minimum of 1yr in an ADP HRM product.
Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree and relevant direct work experience required; Master's degree with applicable certifications preferred. Company Overview:
