POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager position plays an integral role within the Corporate Marketing Group managing print and digital projects across the A E Networks corporate business units. The Project Manager will handle job initiations for assigned groups and will be responsible for overseeing project development from inception to release, partnering with the Creative Director and Designers as well as Multimedia, Copy, and Print Production. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules and acting as the liaison between the marketing team and key stakeholders. He/she will manage all aspects of print, advertising, collateral, and interactive.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Close partnership with Creative Directors and team of talented Art Directors to strategically guide creative development and continue to strengthen the network voice and visual language.
• Close partnership with the production team to ensure fluid, timely, on-budget delivery of all projects.
• Coordinate start up meetings and presentation meetings
• Manage all aspects of project database including opening and closing jobs, updating and maintaining project details, conducting searches and pulling reports.
• Ensure coordination of the work flow process and help ensure adherence to deadlines
• Route creative materials for feedback and approvals
• Communicate with external media company and publication to confirm media specs.
Qualification Requirements Candidate must be a great communicator both verbal and written with the ability to thoughtfully articulate his/her thinking. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively is a must as is enthusiasm, creative problem solving skills and obsession with detail. He/she must be able to communicate with clients, follow process and maintain work-flow. Must have the ability to switch gears quickly and juggle multiple concurrent projects. Must be able to respond quickly as needed under demanding deadlines. Candidate should have a passion for creativity as well as a drive to create efficient workflows and improve processes.
Educational Requirements 5 years working experience in marketing, media/advertising, and or entertainment. Interactive experience a plus.
