Programming Coordinator, Lifetime (Project)
Provide programming support for a team of Lifetime executives. Responsibilities include assisting in the coordination and tracking of development and programming for the department; coordinate daily programming activities and communicate project development and production with other departments within A E Networks Coordinate all resources and information relating to project submissions, and all projects in production and development. Active participation in weekly development meetings and brainstorms is required; participation in pitch meetings is optional as work flow permits. Opportunity to participate in notes session, again as work flow permits.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage executive contact/submissions database; manage tracking and processing of all submissions; handle all dub requests.
Produce and coordinate materials for all development meetings and presentations.
Track, receive and distribute rough cuts, fine cuts, etc. – Input dates for rough cuts (RC) and fine cuts (FC) into Program Executives calendars – update as needed.
Manage timely processing of all invoices and Debut uploads for NY Lifetime programming.
Work with team to keep EVP and GM updated on projects, by maintaining tracking documents
Maintain producer submissions files and updated producer contact list with relevant agents included.
Maintain Producer/Agent Contact database for departmental use.
Qualification Requirements Minimum of 2 years' experience working within a programming department in cable/broadcast and or production company at a PA level.
Ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative environment
Strong desire to work in the media business and an eagerness to learn.
Proactive self starter with a keen sense of popular culture and a passion for content on all platforms.
Strong social media skills: snapchat, twitter, Instagram, etc.
Strong skills in excel, word, power point
Ability to edit clips on desktop computers
Some exposure to field production /post production a plus
Educational Requirements The candidate will have a four-year college degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than twelve (12) months.
