Production Fellowship - Project-Veterans
Overview: The candidate will rotate between departments primarily based in Stamford, CT. The overall goal will be to provide an understanding of the end to end global media content supply chain and maximize exposure to various aspects of production, operations, engineering, and technology related to a major media company. The candidates will be exposed to aspects of both technical and business training. Rotations will last a few months each and cover specific in-department tasks and projects. A E will offer flexibility for schedule changes in the later months of year 1 to customize the role to the candidate's preferences, departmental needs or year 2 opportunities. The program will be supplemented with mentoring and other A E and media related learnings.
Qualification Requirements A E Television Networks is setting up (1) one paid fellowship to participate in the Sgro Fellowship for Veterans in Media Technology. This is only open to Veterans with documented military service, allowing them an opportunity to explore a career in Media Technology. The program will encompass a spirit of mentoring and giving back to the Veteran Community while providing on the job training and career opportunities. The position will be based in Stamford, CT, with limited travel to NYC. The program will also include elements of both professional and industry-specific learning.
Educational Requirements Each candidate completes an application specifically tied to the Fellowship. The candidate will need to adhere to company policies and be subjected to regular 90-day performance reviews. This is a full-time paid position. Upon successful completion of the one year program, participant will be given the opportunity to specialize in an area of preference for one more year. There is no guarantee of continued employment beyond the fellowship program Other Skills and Knowledge Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than twelve (12) months.
