As Production Operations and Engineering Project Management Office (PMO) Project Manager, this position is responsible for the oversight of planning, execution, monitoring and closing of projects impacting the department. Projects may be related to various aspects of the business including technology implementations or upgrades, business process and organizational changes, facilities changes, and programming or rebranding initiatives that may impact one or more department subgroups, clients or vendors. This position requires providing system and business process subject matter expertise, vendor management, requirements gathering, user story and use case documentation, workflow definition with key stakeholders, integration and system design, user testing and training, documentation and coordination, and system support. Performance of key project management duties include overall tracking of schedules, weekly status, scorecards, project plan maintenance, system issues /enhancements tracking and the scheduling for system release releases when appropriate.
Manage initiatives in support of Production, Operations & Engineering Department Project Management Office.
• Projects can be related to technology, organization, facility, process or IT system related implementations that impact more than one internal or external client or vendor group.
• Oversee planning, execution, monitoring & control and closing of all assigned projects
• Establish level of effort or size of project to determine the required PMO project deliverables
• Document and confirm the scope of the effort with project executive sponsor(s)
• Identify stakeholders, required resources, tasks required, key milestones, internal and external dependencies, budgetary constraints, potential risks, issues, contingencies and schedules.
• Manage project scope including detailed requirements to confirm results are achieved in the desired allotted timeframe based upon SOWs and SLAs, documenting and receiving approval on any necessary change requests where necessary.
• Assist in client workflow analyses and documentation efforts when appropriate
• Partner with PMO and/or IT Business Analyst to develop business use cases in support of systems requirements definition.
• Ensure appropriate communication to executive management, stakeholders, vendor and technical (IT/Engineering) partners and project team including weekly status scorecard updatesEnsure proper documentation of project through to close including Post Mortem lessons learned

• Follow and adhere to PMO standards and understand when appropriate to deviate from the norm based upon a specific project need or client demand
• Provide support to PMO counterparts as teamwork is required
• Provide feedback and maintenance to PMO templates, processes and standards
• Keep abreast of PMO/ PM best practices and communicate these within the group and to clients where appropriate
• Teach others about PM processes to ensure alignment with the business and management of customer expectations when working with the PMO
• Leverage and learn about Project Management tools and technologies and implement these where possible
• Train, study and seek PMP certification through the testing process where possible. Qualification Requirements Bachelor's degreeKnowledge of media library processes and procedures and digital asset management system functionality. Understanding of broadcast, post production and digital media processes. 2-3 years experience in media library or production operations experience
Knowledge of project management or Project Management Office concepts and methodologies
Knowledge of or experience with full system lifecycle development specifically media asset management
2-3 years staff management experience in media operations
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple projects overseeing diverse tasks
Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to impart information in a clear and logical manner
Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal business clients and external vendors
Must be extremely organized, capable of multitasking, prioritizing and handling ad hoc situations as they arise
