Full Time Job
Manage programming systems IT portfolio including business relationship management, solution & system development and maintenance for Programming systems including program planning, scheduling & program finance, rights and potentially other systems that align with those workflows and business needs.
• Lead and manage Domestic and International Programming System's long-term strategy & operations supporting the entire lifecycle thru acquisition, scheduling and program finance reporting into business system leader
• Lead and manage Rights System's long-term strategy & operations supporting acquired rights, sold rights, rights datamart and ancillary rights systems
• Build solutions, applications, tools & processes supporting these critical functions of A&E enterprise
• Rationalize portfolio to consolidate multiple disparate tools/apps into a holistic application eco system and assist in the creation of the global application plan
• Ensure that the application portfolio is aligned with enterprise initiatives like Corporate Data Repository, International O Os and others.
• Working knowledge of upstream, downstream systems and interfaces.
• Support seamless onboarding of new corporate initiatives like Digital Studios Short form creation, Vice, FTA etc.
• Support Enterprise technology projects like Office upgrades and move to the Cloud
• Work closely with build & run team to develop a pool concept for build & run activities
• Work closely with data integration & intelligence team on building out data management, BI & common service based integrations & identify opportunities for data visualization
• Ensure that repeat defects, break fixes are minimized & focus on building value-added tools
• Ensure that the portfolio is on the right technological platform, architecture & infrastructure
• Regular status reporting including but not limited to budget, project & support status, resources to the IT leadership, Business & Finance
• Ensure alignment with internal IT groups of S&I, PMO and TOPS.
• Manage vendors, consultants including contract negotiations, invoicing, pricing & evaluation of current & potential partnerships for A E
• Detailed resource planning, allocation & forecasting. Ensure consistent processes for support & development including time tracking, task allocation, backup & succession planning, training and mentoring
• Create development plans for staff to align with organizational & departmental vision
• Build a high performing team, foster open communication, transparency, highest level of integrity, trust & collaboration within & across the departments
• Define, monitor and manage key application and service delivery metrics
• Ability to set clear expectations with vendors as well as stakeholders and get firm commitments on deliverables as well as associated delivery dates
• SOW negotiations working with 3rd parties whose services are required
Qualification Requirements
• Strong understanding & experience managing programming systems & processes
• Strong understanding of rights licensing in media for acquisition, use and resale
• Ability to define future roadmap & complete application eco system out of disparate tools

• The ability to define technical roles needed to effectively deliver a solution
• Ability to present, with confidence, complex ideas in visual and consumable way to varied level of business users
