Full Time Job
The Metadata & Publishing Manager, Encoding & Fulfillment is responsible for the technical support and administration of all metadata & partner/vendor publishing related requirements; including XML schema support, new partner on-boarding, publishing error resolution, reporting and UAT support for Production Asset Management (PAM) related development as it relates to the Metadata & Publishing needs for the Encoding & Fulfillment department.
Manage Staff/Freelancer Schedules & Budget Management
Responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality for metadata & publishing support. This includes the timely and accurate provisioning of high quality metadata and publishing support solutions.
Manage Metadata & Publishing team with respect to prioritization, work assignment & project management. This includes ensuring the reporting needs, SOP documentation, training and the execution & enforcement of internal operational processes.
Establish and leverage relationships with the Encoding & Fulfillment Technical Supervisor, Engineering and I/T teams with respect to capturing requirements and providing solutions in support of the operational needs being provided by the Metadata & Publishing team.
Primarily responsible for ensuring a high level of customer support with internal & external business clients and vendors; ensuring the appropriate level of communication, responsiveness and expertise.
Qualification Requirements
• Bachelors Degree
• 2 years in project management.
• • 3 years experience within digital publishing environment, a plus.
• 2 years managing others
• • Deep understanding of XML, XSD, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel – formulas and macros), and Search Engine Optimization.
• • Understanding of computer programming logic. Knowledge in the following languages is a plus (Java, PHP, AppleScript, Python, MySQL, Microsoft Access).
