The Sr Director Production Mgment, HISTORY is responsible for the oversight of project workflow for all on-air & print campaigns across channel brands. Its key function is to review marketing plans & priorities and determine the best course of action for ensuring the most effective and impactful creative vision is delivered on time, on budget, and in formats required to support our increasing Global base.
Responsibilities
include:
• Research, develop, and implement new production & post-production models to cut costs, reduce redundancy, and push the creative and marketing teams towards a higher creative output to support more priority titles
• Oversee project timelines, creative assignments, video & print production and post-production.
• Field all on air and off air marketing requests, and create rolling schedules to ensure timely delivery of all content to its intended platform.
• Liaise between all internal and external partners, which includes negotiating deals, awarding bids, assigning work, and managing delivery through post-production.
• Manage producers, designers and coordinators within the marketing team, ensuring assignments are thoroughly supervised and executed, and collaborate daily with VPs and creative directors to see their creative vision through.
• Actively oversee production budget for all marketing shoots and campaigns.
• Serve as point between marketing team and post production facility, which includes maintaining general workflow between departments, archiving assets and media, and maximizing edit sessions for optimal creative output.
Additional duties include but are not limited to:
• Forecast budgeting for upcoming programs
• Approval and routing of all invoices
• Maintain relationships with programming and scheduling to support the needs of the design team
• Seek info on pilots, scripts, photography, production dates, premiere date, title changes and additions
• Supplier of all assets and info to all departments and external partners
• Maintain program and status reports
• Confirm accuracy and consistencies with tune in, language, logos, etc. on key art
• Approve all DTO creative and critique/ suggest replacement art when needed
• Awards submission management
Educational Requirements The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree from a 4 year college or university.
