Digital Ad Operations Analyst (Project)
The Data Analyst, Ad Operations will be responsible for supporting internal stakeholders through quantitative analytics, specifically with respect to A E's digital advertisement operations. This role will be responsible for establishing digital video ad health analytics including ad impression reporting and analysis, ad delivery monitoring and failure notifications across all platforms, devices and points of distribution to quickly identify technical ad delivery issues when they arise.
• Interact with various business groups, including Ad Product, Trafficking, Digital IT Product Teams to establish reporting systems and QOS levels across OO and Points of Distribution ad delivery locations.
• Analyze digital ad delivery data points across IP and STB VOD DAI locations daily to draw insights to identify potential issues and drive critical decision making in prioritization of issue management. (currently 250 expected to grow to 400 by end of 2017)
• Assist with the coordination of data collection from point of origin which may include contacting various vendors/partners outside the company to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or obtain missing data; responsible for data quality and integrity
• Development of KPIs, dashboards, models, and solutions to help build out the ad analytics health platform to quickly identify ad delivery issues as they arise.
• Leverage data to guide Digital Ad Operations Leadership development to maximize revenue potential and to achieve established annual revenue targets.
Qualification Requirements
• 1 years of related experience
• Solid understanding of the differences of ad delivery mechanism's in a multi-platform environment and across different digital video creative types
• Capability in analyzing and interpreting data from standard ad technology platforms
• Basic technical knowledge of Coding/HTML to pull user sessions via Charles, Fiddler or other proxy reporting solutions
• Strong skills in SQL, as well as Business Intelligence, data and reporting tools (e.g. Excel, Cognos, Tableau, etc.)
• Exceptional analytical ability and sound business judgment
• Comfort manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, highly dimensional data from varying sources
• Able to synthesize and communicate complex qualitative and quantitative data using data visualization
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with internal stakeholders.
Educational Requirements Bachelor degree in quantitative discipline (Math, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, etc.) Other Skills and Knowledge Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than twelve (12) months.
