POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for articulating the A E Networks Masterbrand strategy, developing creative solutions, maintaining and evolving a rationalized narrative for the Masterbrand strategy that elevates and prioritizes the A E Networks Masterbrand both internally and externally while also managing the creative staff, day-to-day development, creation and stewardship for the department across brand and business partners.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Define and manage the direction of creative projects, whether working specifically on Masterbrand (MB) or incorporating the MB into individual brands and business partner collateral. Evangelizing ''Show Don't Tell'' philosophy. Define the MB visual identity keeping it in line with the evolving strategy.
2. Ensure creative executions are consistent, particularly across tent pole events and initiatives (i.e. Upfront, MB ads, presentations), and that all creative under review remains on brand and consistent with our values, tone, voice, mission and vision.
3. Oversee entire MB creative team while maintaining managerial influence over the entire department design function, working collaboratively and cross-functionally with colleagues across departments to leverage internal expertise on cross-training and developing skills. Assign projects, manage burn rates and keep to budgetary guidelines.
4. Provide creative solutions for the A E Networks brands and business partners, leveraging access to assets, institutional knowledge, colleagues and established relationships across the organization, stay abreast of industry best practices and brand guidelines.
5. Collaborate with department colleagues to deliver agreed upon solutions on time and on budget.
Qualification Requirements Minimum of 8 years experience within an advertising or graphic design firm.
Media and/or entertainment experience as either a client or brand partner a plus
Business management, team building and leadership skills are mandatory
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
High level of discretion, integrity, judgment, responsiveness and personal initiative
Hands on experience with: Adobe CC particularly PS, ID, AI, DW, AE, Office 365, PowerPoint and advanced Keynote Educational Requirements College Degree in either advertising, graphic design, or marketing Other Skills and Knowledge TBD Company Overview: At A E Networks, we are passionate about programming that brings human stories to life, knowing that it is in life itself that those stories originate.
