Coordinator, Scheduling LMN (Non-Staff)
Responsible for the timely scheduling, dissemination, tracking and upkeep of all scheduling information and program records for Lifetime Movie Network (LMN), acting as a liaison between scheduling and a number of key areas including: production, net-ops, ad sales, listings, on-air, standards and practices and external acquisition production companies. In addition, this position is responsible for coordinating acquisitions between the VP of acquisitions and the LMN scheduling team and working closely on our Programming budget, as well as managing the PAC process from beginning to end.
Create and update/maintain all air schedules for LMN as well as managing all program records in PPL including formats, titles, and piece numbers. Work with Director of Scheduling to manage the LMN schedule including schedule changes, non-prime day-part performance and assisting in brainstorming stunts, theme weeks and branded nights throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
• Working with Director of Scheduling to create and disseminate the LMN monthly schedule to key departments across the network including net ops, press, promo, marketing, digital, production and research.
• Monitoring short term schedule and non-prime day-part performance
• Making and disseminating all LMN schedule changes and coordinating with press to ensure listings deadlines are met
• Maintaining program records in PPL as far as program titles, formats, TV rating inputs, and license/rights information
• Liaising regularly with net ops and on-air to ensure correct formats for ad sales deals and promo time
• Contributing to inventory analysis projects as they arise
• Participating in department strategy sessions and regular scheduling/programming meetings
Acquisitions:
Review projects submitted for acquisition by the VP of Acquisitions and coordinate subsequent delivery of all acquired programs for LMN.
Responsibilities include:
• Reviewing projects submitted to LMN for possible acquisition and assessing their relevance to our program strategy, deciding whether or not we are interested in acquiring
• Liaise with production companies and Stamford insuring delivery of proper materials for acquired programs
• Maintain Acquisition production report and other acquisitions-related trackers as well as complete ad hoc analyses and projects for VP of Acquisitions.
Miscellaneous
PAC Process: manage the PAC process by which new shows, series renewals and acquisitions are approved. Track upcoming projects and coordinate with multiple departments, including Programming, Finance, Research and Ad Sales to complete PACs and requisite ROS's (analyses that project financial return on investments based on cost, projected ratings and projected ad sales revenue) in a timely manner.
Budget maintenance: work closely with Finance on an as-needed basis, including updating estimated premiere dates and projecting play patterns. Qualification Requirements Microsoft Word & Excel
