Post Production Client Services Coordinator
A E Networks' Post Production Client Services team consists of the Scheduling and Library groups; who are the first points of contact for other A E departments and business partners requesting services within the facility. While the Scheduling and Library groups work in tandem, each group has their own set of responsibilities; the Coordinator is trained in both areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling
• Post Production support
• Receiving, vetting, scheduling, and reconciling requests for internal and external session fulfillment (loading, encoding, transcoding, delivery to broadcast and non-broadcast platforms, etc.)
• Managing fulfillment workloads through consultation with both internal Post support teams and clients
• Monitoring all communication between clients, Client Services, and other Post support teams to best prioritize facility workload
• Work with supervisor to book additional resources based on client need and overall facility capacity
• Audio scheduling: VO and mix sessions
• Addressing acute crewing needs: arranging coverage for editor, assistant editor, and graphic designer call-outs
• Reporting on Edit room usage and technical issuesLibrary
• Media asset registration and trafficking in support of internal and external fulfillment needs as per client requests
• Physical and file-based assets
• Managing and processing shipments between A E campuses and external vendors
• Creating and registering new media assetsKnowledge / Preferred Skills
• BA/BS in Communications or related field, and/or relevant internship experience
• Minimum 1 year television post production scheduling experience, or similar, in a fast-paced high-volume facility
• Working knowledge of post-production scheduling software, preferably Xytech MediaPulse
• Maintain a professional and personable demeanor, especially under stressful circumstances, in all types of interactions (verbal, email, etc.)
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to tight deadlines
• Ability to quickly identify issues hampering daily operations and proactively seek out solutions
• Must have flexible hours to work AM/PM shifts and overtime as needed
