The primary function of this position is to help administer the processing and transmittal of the bi-weekly payroll for the client and/or employee groups as determined by the Payroll Supervisor and/or Sr. Director of Payroll Operations, utilizing ADP Enterprise Version 5 (EV5).
1. Process and transmit bi-weekly payroll for pre-determined client groups.
• Update EV5 with employee tax changes and direct deposit information.
• Run payroll preview and audit preview register, and all applicable preview reports.
• Ensure appropriate results were achieved from all Payroll, HR and Benefit entries.
• Make any management approved adjustments to Preview prior to transmission.2. Maintain time and attendance system, TIMELINK.
• Insure all new hire and terminated employee are properly processed within TIMELINK
• Update schedules and reset employee accounts as necessary
• Monitor employee accruals.3. Monitor the bi-weekly timecard entries made into TIMELINK for accuracy and appropriate
manager approvals.
• Review timecards and correct any inaccuracies.
• Get OT manager approval when necessary.
• Run applicable period end reports.4. Develop a working knowledge of other full time staff and freelance payroll processing
policies/procedures.
• Cross Train with other members of Payroll team5. Provide Administrative support to other members of the Payroll Team.
• Sort and distribute paychecks/paystubs and W-2s.
• File and maintain all employee wage garnishment information.
• Receive training on NETS (internal freelance system), ASPEN and Concur in order to process
• invoices and data entry.6. Maintain all bi-weekly processing reports, custom reports, quarterly and year end processing reports on Payroll Shared Drive.
• Download and save all reports from EV5 and save in shared internal drives.7. Ad-Hoc projects
• Provide support for special project work as it arises, e.g. auditor requests, tax issue research
• and resolution Qualification Requirements
• Payroll Processing experience with exposure to all facets of Payroll Cycle.
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• 2 – 3 years of experience in processing Payroll
• Individual must be articulate, have superior communication and customer service skills. Must function as a team player and be able to react and adapt to quickly changing circumstances.
• Knowledge of ADP Business Solutions, preferably ADP EV5
• Expert in Excel, knowledge of formulas and macros usage desired
• 5 Years or more experience in processing Payroll desired. Educational Requirements Associate Degree; Bachelor Degree desired but not required Other Skills and Knowledge MO-POST; LI-POST
