We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator, Lifetime Scripted Programming in the Los Angeles office. This position would be responsible for supporting the SVP of Lifetime Scripted Series Programming. This position offers a unique opportunity for a highly motivated self-starter who is interested being part of a team and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. Specifically, the individual in this position would:
• Manage a heavy volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls as well as rolling calls.
• Maintain executive's daily schedule and call log; publish weekly status reports as well as maintain a submissions log used to track projects and their status.
• Schedule pitch meetings, notes meetings, and general creative meetings; manage the flow of incoming and outgoing material from the network.
• Act as a liaison between producers and network executives.
• Provide additional support reading and preparing coverage on submitted material.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and other administrative duties (i.e. processing travel and expense reports, manage logistics for meetings, etc...)
Qualification Requirements The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of entertainment industry experience. In addition, the individual would have:
• Strong organizational, writing, judgement, and communication skills.
• The ability to generate Excel charts and PowerPoint presentations.
• The skills to help identify new writers, new directors, as well as help identify and track down possible projects for the scripted series division.
• Must have the ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information.
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and efficiently with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred.
Educational Requirements The ideal candidate will have a 4 year undergraduate degree.
