Coordinator, International Formats, Production & Programming (Project)
Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than twelve (12) months.
Production Format Team Support
• Setup creative calls and meetings with executive producers and key members of the US production companies to get initial production information.
• For US series, collect and provide format sales team with:
• Production materials
• Ratings
• Press clippings
• Sizzle or promo reels
• Research, procure and disseminate locked and final episodes screeners.
• Support marketing and format teams by:
• Researching and curating material for format USP's
• Setting up format pitch session logistics
• Cheat sheets
• One-sheets
• Support creative teams by securing appropriate footage for international format highlight reels, and research competition.
• Capture, redact, organize, and disseminate format production bible elements for priority series and maintain status updates on format tracking system.
• Secure graphics, key art, music and project files from suppliers, convert metrics appropriate to international clients and post to digital platforms.
• Collect and circulate on air promos, ratings, press quotes, and airdates for all format adaptations
• Maintain updated format content and post screeners to sales website.
• Keep comprehensive information database related to all format adaptations.
• Create zero price PACs for catalog and sales tracking
• Coordinate receipt of master delivery of format adaptations and support assets in accordance with international specifications and rights bible delivery system.Production Programming Team Support
In partnership with Programming's Creative Director, keep International updated on all local productions in the works and manage the intake of that content to the Division. Contact channel partner production heads on a quarterly basis to obtain information on local programs cleared for A E sales distribution. In collaboration with A E's Operations and Acquisitions leads, track and arrange for receipt and quality control of master deliverables, in digital or hard copy. Ensure that all master deliverables are in compliance with international production technical standards. Assist with information for all four catalog releases during the year. Ensure accurate rights, synopses and titles are captured in the International GPS system. Support channel production requests for archive and music.
• Serve as channel and third party point of contact for production information relevant to International co-productions, local productions, and third party program collections.
• Coordinate with domestic programming to capture and disseminate scripts, cuts, interview transcripts, handle channel feedback and communication in timely fashion.
• In partnership with Programming's Creative Director, support international development by setting up a central repository for ideas and regional commissions. Capture programming pitches and green lit local series and share information with channel partners.
• For International Programming, create and manage central repository of all US network program clips (for programs in development and greenlit), third party program collections and local programs.
• Assist in the preparation of power point and video support for sales and international conferences, MIP markets, programming conferences, content creative and sales' summits. Organize, upload per spec and maintain accurate box files for sessions. Run session AV and time as requested.
Qualification Requirements
• Fluency in creating and maintaining accurate spreadsheets and databases
• Proficiency at Word and Excel
• Output driven, task focused and strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Self-disciplined and a self-starter
• Strong organizational, communication and collaborative skills
• Flexibility to Changing priorities
