Client Services Project Supervisor (Temporary)
The Client Services Project Supervisors are the main points of contact for producers working in the 6th floor Post facility. The Supervisor is a liaison between the producer-client and the facility; capturing producer's needs and translating those needs into technical actions executed within the facility (or outside of the facility depending on available resources and/or scope of need). Each Supervisor is assigned to specific producers and brands, and is responsible for the following:
• Administering the execution of producers' Post Production needs; which include, but are not limited to:
• Commissioning shoots and/or AVID projects
• Screening and ingest of shoot footage
• Screening and ingest of ancillary assets (FBA, lo-res footage links, etc.)
• Voice over, audio mixing
• Export and delivery of finished assets to various platforms (linear, digital, off-air, etc.)
• Archiving and deletion of deliverables and project media
• Translating informal producer Post requests into actionable tasks for the facility via the use of request forms, PAM actions, MediaPulse orders, and other intra-PSNY (and intra-POET) workflows
• Liaise with Technical personnel to verify the proper workflows for each request and/or to troubleshoot workflow impediments
• Liaise with end users, within A E and elsewhere, to ensure proper and timely delivery of all deliverables (including the necessary metadata files, and other supplemental deliverables)
• Attend creative and brand meetings, receive briefs, and proactively anticipate and gather necessary source material for each project
• Proactively engage producers on upcoming projects and required deliverables in order to streamline production
• Escalate out of scope requests and/or internal resource conflicts to department Supervisor as needed
Qualification Requirements
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed, per producer-project needs
• 3-4 years' experience in a high-volume post production environment; preferably dealing with broadcast deliverables and/or clients, or an equivalent
• Working knowledge of Post Production scheduling software: Xytech MediaPulse or ScheduALL, or an equivalent
• Exemplary organizational skills and an appreciation for workflows and process
• Personable yet professional demeanor, especially under pressure
