A Common Thread is a Los Angeles-based film production company. We create television commercials, branded content, viral marketing and other visual media.
We are looking for an intern to assist the Post Production Supervisor with the post production workflow of the company. You may also be asked to assist with various office and administrative responsibilities within the company.
This position is for those looking to learn about post production, and production in general. Ideally, candidates should be self motivated and detail oriented. Knowledge of editing and general tech-savviness is a plus.
In addition to learning about production workflow, this is a great opportunity to be in an intimate work environment and learn first-hand how a production company operates. Interns will be able to interact directly with producers and be involved with a variety of projects in different stages of production.
Preferred candidates will be Mac proficient. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and Mac software (Final Cut, Compressor, Numbers/Excel) is a plus.
Must be available 1-2 days during the week. You will need to occasionally go on runs, so having a car is a must (mileage reimbursed). This is an unpaid internship, but we can offer college credit.
