Part Time Unpaid Internship
7ATE9 Entertainment, a leading creative agency/production company and post-production facility, is seeking currently enrolled college students to join us as production interns this fall.
***Interns must be enrolled in a college or university during the time of the internship, and must earn college credit for the internship period.***
Interns are expected to be here at least 2 days a week for 3-4 months at a time and will be involved in exciting projects and have the opportunity to assist on set with various departments including camera, wardrobe, art, and production.
Coursework in media/technology/marketing/entertainment are highly preferred, and own transportation is required. This internship is unpaid but mileage for driving tasks will be reimbursed. Proof of current college enrollment (i.e. transcript or valid student ID) will be required before the internship begins.
The interns' role in the company structure is to develop skills that aid in the production process and in his/her professional growth. The interns will be integrated into the staff and given full access to all areas, meetings, and information so they can better understand the company and the tasks at hand. They will be given various responsibilities and tasks along with the proper training to carry them out.
The interns will complete general tasks in the three basic areas: production support, creative support, and office/managerial support.
Specific tasks falling under production support include on-set assistance with various departments including, camera, wardrobe, art, and production. Interns will also have opportunities to contribute to the post-production process (sound, editing, graphics) on various projects.
Specific tasks falling under creative support include brainstorming ideas for projects, conducting general creative research online, and contributing to the development of ongoing campaigns, shows, television specials, music videos, and commercials.
Specific tasks falling under office/managerial support include keeping the office stocked with supplies, the kitchen tidy, and the dishwasher maintained. Also answering phones when needed, going on various runs, and assisting with technology and database supervision.
