48 Communications is hiring a full-time coordinator to assist with all aspects of a fast growing entertainment, public relations and strategic marketing agency. We want a person that is eager to assist and work in experiential event marketing, gaming, fitness, beauty and lifestyle brands.
What you'll be doing:
-Scheduling and visiting film and TV sets and studio lots to deliver products
-Tracking and updating databases with upcoming film and TV projects in development to highlight ones that are on-brand with our current client slate.
-Creating a system for ''call-backs'' and ''refills'' for makeup artists, and sets that we have visited in the past, to check in and follow up with drops.
-Helping develop client content strategy.
-General administrative tasks as needed to help projects run smoothly, including but not limited to taking notes/minutes on conference calls and recapping for client(s) and internal executives.
-Contributing to our daily round-ups and newsletters with overall industry research.
-Working with the team to compile the nightly newsletter and weekend.
-Tracking real time happenings in relevant categories.
-Participate in regular client meetings and conference calls.
-Participate in internal team meetings.
-Helping to plan and develop marketing efforts for a particular brand or client.
-Helping to create strategies to take advantage of market opportunities.
-Participate in conceptualizing strategic initiatives and implementing details of a campaigns.
-Assisting in and attending event activations: researching vendors, brainstorming creative concepts, scheduling and sourcing other event needs.
-Potentially hire and coordinate brand ambassadors and production assistants at on-site events working with the Sr. Manager of Events.
-Coordinate with Project Leads to receive inventory, activation displays and equipment.
-Maintain inventory and act as an Office Manager for the LA Office.
You're going to be a rock star if:
-You have a ''no ego'' attitude and can problem solve and think quickly on your feet.
-You communicate clearly and effectively to ensure assigned tasks are implemented and controlled according to plans.
-You have superior editing, proofreading and spelling skills for client recaps and emails.
-You anticipate challenges and take an interest in the overall event experience and can proactively provide input as needed.
-You have a positive, outgoing and professional demeanor, are energetic and able to keep up a good attitude despite long hours.
-You excel under pressure and are confident in handling change and customer complaints.
-You have experience in public relations, events, retail or customer service.
The following are required:
-Knowledgeable about Google Slides/Docs and Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop a plus
-Must be Mac Savvy
-1-2 years of assistant experience
