- 3-5 years experience (prior agency experience required)
- Ideate, plan, develop and execute strategic PR/communications plans/programs
- Develop strategic partnership by cultivating relationships with top-tier consumers, businesses, and trade press
- Will lead the day-to-day pitching efforts
- Must possess strong national and regional media relationships and the ability to cultivate new media contacts
- Coordinate media tours, press events, desksides, etc.
- Develop and manage comprehensive media database
- Monitor for client news daily and lead reporting efforts on behalf of clients
- Monitor and identify trends/hot topics on a daily basis and apply them to client needs and programming
- Draft press materials including: press releases, pitch letters, key messages, etc.
- Identify and forge relationships with relevant strategic partners
- Oversee event development, management, and execution in line with client platforms
- Develop and manage budgets
- Harness current client relationships for new business and seek out new potential clients
- Participate in new business proposals and presentations
- Supervise and develop junior staff
- Be proactive and think big!
