30 & Beyond Producers of The PBS Show: Rise and Shine are seeking highly motivated and energetic interns to support our Los Angeles red carpet interviews, award shows, premieres, parades, charity events and after parties. This position is on a project basis and interns will be notified when there will be an event. Interns are expected to maintain a professional manner during our events and around celebrity clientele and VIP guests. This internship is based in Los Angeles and interns must live in or near the area. If you have a love for the entertainment industry and events, this is the perfect opportunity for you! All footage becomes the property of ''30 & Beyond'' Producers of The PBS Show: Rise and Shine.
Qualifications
- Must have experience filming
- Must have camera
- A firm grasp of digital camera formats, frame rates, codecs
- Knowledgeable of video camera operation, lighting and sound recording is a plus
- Team player and reliable
- Creative individual who is keen to detail
- Proactive and takes initiative
- Must have own means of transportation
INTERN responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pre- Event
o Research approved event in order to gain knowledge of celebrities attending event
- Event
o Set-up camera on red carpet prior to event o Support host to make sure that the best possible shots are made available
- Post-Event
o Determined by 30& Beyond on footage to be discussed at interview
INTERN PAYMENT: Unpaid Internship and/or for class credit only
HOURS REQUIRED:
*This position requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week for at least 4 months or TBD based on freelance project
* May include weekdays, evenings and weekends
