Duties:
To facilitate cash disbursements to internal and external customers. Provide exemplary customer service. Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized. Enforce strict adherence to A/P policies and procedures. Adhere to all deadlines imposed. Review all invoices for proper coding and approvals. Enter invoices in accounting system. Must be able handle multiple tasks and stay organized. Develop creative solutions to problems. Work with Manager on special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
10-key by touch. Strong math skills. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Should have experience in a high volume environment and possess strong organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
Some knowledge of JDEdwards accounting software preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum 4 years prior work experience in Accounts Payable.
Will need to maintain good working relationships and cooperate actively with other team members, finance staff, all upper management and vendors to ensure objectives of the department and company are met.
