2 Degrees is a boutique influence marketing firm located in West Hollywood, CA. We work at the intersection of business and creativity, bringing innovative brands to the forefront of pop culture through high level partnerships with creative and industry leaders.
We are seeking an Account Director with client and project management experience to join our team. This is a great career opportunity to work for a high-profile, global client in the consumer technology space. Working with the client and internal team, you'll define and manage marketing projects to ensure that they are delivered to the client as scoped - on time and on budget. This position will be based out of 2 Degrees' offices in West Hollywood, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Primary point of contact responsible for management of client relationship, with confidence and authority as the day-to-day voice of the agency team
• Represent client's interests and keep them informed on project status
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, client's business - their key issues, competitive situation and industry trends
• Effectively balance the dual expectations of your clients and the agency
• Anticipate potential relationship or expectation issues, advising senior staff in time for the agency to act proactively
• Assist with the development of quarterly and annual client plan
• Manage project team members, both in office and employees working remotely in other key markets, facilitating effective workflow between project team members and coordinating resources needed to service projects
• Oversee bespoke experiential events across key markets
• Manage program budget across events, physical assets, vendors and staff
• Play a positive role within agency
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field preferred
• 5+ years experience in client management/project management in an agency environment
• Experience managing marketing campaigns from creative brief through execution with history of generating measurable results against client goals
• Knowledge/experience in experiential (live event production and execution) a plus
• Experience in luxury and tech sectors a plus
• Full awareness of creative processes and techniques - including digital platforms
• Knowledge of data/analytics and how it is used to execute campaigns
• Knowledge of Hollywood studio system, news, and latest trends is a plus
• Ability to prioritize a wide variety of tasks and changing deadlines
• Ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
• Flexible and adaptable to different work styles
• Superb client relationship management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective team management capabilities
• A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Gmail
On the whole, this is an office-based role and you will spend time in meetings, managing projects and project team members, as well as remaining in close contact with key clients. Travel is required for client visits, planning and briefs as well as travel for events and client activations throughout the year. Although your commitment will tend to be standard office hours, deadlines or the demands of a client may see you working early or late to ensure continued success.
