Full Time Job
We are seeking a Brand Partnerships Director who will be responsible for driving brand partnership opportunities to support the growth of the CBS brand and related content! This is a marketing role that collaborates across the internal organization to pitch, develop, and execute strategic marketing partnership plans, to reach audiences at scale, unlock incremental value, increase viewership, drive earned media, and improve brand relevance. The role reports to the VP, Brand Strategy.
Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to:
• Pitch and build brand partnerships that drive reach, culture, conversation, and awareness for priority promotional marketing campaigns and improve overall brand
• Use data insights, trends, research, and consumer insights to help guide partnership exploration
• Source and secure appropriate brand partners to generate incremental audience and value for CBS and its partners
• Manage outreach, negotiations, and execution with external partners, in collaboration with CBS marketing leadership and internal partners
• Serve as primary support for Ad Sales marketing relationships to ensure high visibility, communication, and partner exploration inclusive of status reports, monthly regroups, and all partnership planning
• Coordinate with internal partners across the company to get alignment, share marketing priorities and plans, organize efforts, and ensure seamless execution of marketing partnerships with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Affiliates Distribution, CP) to optimize partnership opportunities and go-to-market strategies
• Manage any internal co-branded partnership platforms, vetting inquiries and handling collaborations
• Act as self-starter and “catalyst†who brings big ideas and inspires others to deliver best in class ideas, obtaining buy-in and effectively and efficiently implementing ideas at scale
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 7 years of experience in brand marketing, film, TV, and/or marketing partnerships
• Prior experience with a major brand, studio, media company, streaming service, brand and/or marketing agency, consumer marketing, marketing communications and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products
• Experience participating in the partnership, planning, and execution process
Additional Qualifications:
• Highly data-driven, possessing a strong ability to gather and apply insights to frame recommendations and results into concise and actionable reports
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills
• Strong project management skills
• Solid knowledge of the TV and Entertainment landscape
• Ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion
• Strong collaboration skills with internal and external agencies/partners, including day-to-day management of campaign achievements and agency deliverables
• Ability to influence direction on a wide range of department issues
• Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $120,000.00 - 140,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
