Persona PR is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Los Angeles team. Position may support publicists in NYC, remotely. A minimum of two years working in entertainment publicity is required, with a focus in talent representation, a plus. We are thrilled our team is growing and are looking for individuals who have a passion for working in personal public relations and are planning for long-term career paths in this field. This is a hybrid/work from home position, however regular on the ground coverage with clientele is required in the Los Angeles area.
Some job duties include:
- Track/monitor client press placements & send out coverage in a timely manner.
- In person coverage: photo shoots, press junkets, and various publicity related activities including staffing red carpet events i.e. award shows, premieres, venue openings and galas when needed.
- Ongoing research, tracking media contact changes, sharing updated contact information with our LA and NYC teams.
- Event and gifting submissions.
- Editorial photo shoot production (compiling mood boards, helping to oversee photographers/glam/budgets).
- A growing knowledge of awards season support for clientele (campaign strategy & media placements, submission deadlines, overall coverage).
- A growing knowledge of protocols with the festival circuit/industry conventions + client support (Sundance, TIFF, Cannes, Tribeca, San Diego and New York Comic Cons, to name a few).
- Knowledge of protocols with media outlets: i.e magazine cover bookings and exclusivity time periods/embargoes, late night + daytime talk show bookings for clientele, etc.
- Light pitching to media and securing press placements on behalf of clientele (national and international).
- Coordinating and overseeing client schedules; sending memos and handling complex itineraries - aiding in car service/flights/travel/glam teams & more.
- Patching client interviews through (phone/zoom).
- Brainstorming pitch angles and ideas for clients.
- Well versed in biographical, pitch, and press release writing.
- Proficient in Cision, MuckRack, Fashion Monitor, IMDB, and Celebrity Intelligence (and basic Microsoft Office applications)
- Possible media training with clientele (alongside senior team members), compiling sample talking points and questions + overseeing media training sessions.
- Preparing end of month reports for clients.

Salary/Benefits
$24.00 - 30.00 per hour
